My name is Julian, and I’m the owner of 1 Touch Printing. This is the first time I’ve ever shared something so personal on social media, but I want everyone to understand the reason behind our Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

 

On Friday, August 10, 2018, I received a text from one of my aunts, someone I grew up with and have always been very close to. She sent me a few breast cancer, related items, and I didn’t understand why. So I called her.

 

When she answered, I could immediately hear something was wrong. I asked her about the message, and through a trembling voice, she told me that her doctor had diagnosed her with breast cancer. Tears instantly started to fall as she explained everything. We both cried on the phone that day.

 

I told her, “Everything will be all right. I’ll be there for you through this journey.” She said she would be okay and that she was ready to fight. I promised her that I would be there with her every step of the way.

 

As her treatments began, I saw her strength firsthand. Chemo took a toll on her, she lost her hair and grew weak, but she never gave up. She pushed through every single day with courage and faith. Watching her go through that changed me.

 

My aunt wasn’t just my aunt, she was my best friend. We grew up together, laughed, worked hard, and made family memories that I’ll never forget. Seeing her fight to walk again, regain her strength, and eventually start gardening inspired me deeply.

 

I remember joking with her one day, saying, “I don’t need to go to the grocery store, I’ll just come to your backyard and grab some fresh vegetables.” She gave me that look every family has, that “don’t even try it” look, and we both laughed.

 

Through all of it, she never complained. She just kept moving forward, one step at a time. Her strength and resilience became my motivation. While others complained about how hard life was, she was literally fighting for hers, and winning.

 

That’s why every October, 1 Touch Printing supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, we’ve partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to give back for a cause that’s very close to my heart.

 

Every shirt and glitter bag we sell will help fund breast cancer education, early detection, and support for those in need.

 

This campaign isn’t just about pink shirts or glitter bags, it’s about hope, love, and the power of community.

 

Together, we can make a difference.
